László Mányoki was born in Nagyvárad (Oradea) and pursued his studies at the Gheorghe Dima Academy of Music in Kolozvsár (Cluj-Napoca). He has performed many roles at the Kolozsvár Hungarian Opera, including Sarastro (Der Zauberflöte), Lázár (Brankovics György), Benoit and Alcindor (La bohème), the Gaoler and the Sacristan (Tosca), Fiorello and Ambrosio (Il barbiere di Siviglia), the Crane (Csínom Palkó), Becsey (Baroness Lili), Major Benkő (Lieutenant Mary), Móricz Dobesitch (Countess Maritza), Endrei and the Count (The Gypsy Princess), Scapin (The Blue Hat), Harlequin (Ariadne auf Naxos), Bartolo (Le nozze di Figaro), the Teacher (Somewhere in Europe), Count Monterone (Rigoletto), Petur bán (Bánk bán) and Dulcamara (L'elisir d'amore).
