Domokos Kovács enrolled in Budakeszi's Czövek Erna Music School in 2001, where he first studied solfège, and later recorder and clarinet. Between 2004 and 2010 he played clarinet in the Budapest Wind Orchestra. Since 2012, he has been studying puppetry at the University of Theatre and Film Arts under the tutelage of János Meczner and Gábor Tengely. In 2014, he founded the Mascherone Company under the leadership of Róbert Markó and Zita Szenteczki. He has participated in numerous workshops, including in Berlin, Hradec Králové, Siena, Charlevielle-Méziėres, Białystok, Zsámbék and Budapest. Since 2014, he has featured in a number of productions as an actor, having appeared in such venues as Zsámbék's Theatre and Arts Base, the Trafó House of Contemporary Arts, the University of Theatre and Film Arts, Szombathely's Mesebolt Puppet Theatre, the Bála Bartók Chamber Theatre in Dunaújváros. He made his Opera House debut in 2015, in La serva padrona.
