Jerry Skelton was born in Wales and has spent his career working in lighting. He was a Lighting Assistant at the National Theatre in London for twenty years, responsible for re-lighting many productions in the UK and overseas. Lighting Designer credits include: The Riot (1999), L’Artaserse (Nancy, Opera Royal Versailles), Aleko and Francesca da Rimini (Buenos Aires, Nancy), Love & Other Demons (Vilnius, Cologne and Strasbourg). Other lighting credits include: Betrothal in a Monastery (Valencia - lighting assistant), La Cenerentola (Berlin - realisation). After the National Theatre, he worked at Glyndebourne Opera as a Lighting Supervisor and now works at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
