Following the new lockdown measures announced by the Government of Hungary on 4 March 2021, the Hungarian State Opera cancels rehearsals and performances requiring a large number of participants between 8 and 22 March 2021.
The following performances are cancelled:
- Les contes d'Hoffmann – online premier on 20 March 2021
- Parsifal – online premier on 2 April 2021
- La fille du régiment – online premiere on 17 April 2021
The new lockdown measures do not affect further programmes such as the Miklósa30 jubilee concert and the free performances streamed on Facebook and Origo.hu.
Tickets for any cancelled performances are to be refunded by the Opera.
