Laura Topolanszky began her vocal training in 2006 as a member of the children’s choir led by Tamás Bubnó. In 2014, she continued her studies at the Bartók Béla Conservatory under the guidance of Veronika Dobi-Kiss. Two years later, she was admitted to the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, where she completed both her Bachelor’s degree in Classical Singing and her Master’s degree in Opera Performance in the class of Andrea Meláth. Since 2021, she has been studying with Ildikó Komlósi.

In 2019, Laura performed the leading role in At the Gate of the Storm, a contemporary opera composed by students of the Liszt Academy, presented at the National Theatre of Pécs. She made her debut at the Eiffel Art Studios in 2021 as the cover for Mélisande in Debussy’s Pelléas et Mélisande, and later appeared as Hella in Levente Gyöngyösi’s opera-musical The Master and Margarita. Laura’s Hungarian State Opera debut took place on July 19, 2022, as Papagena in Mozart’s The Magic Flute. Since then, she has appeared in numerous roles, including Hunyadi Mátyás (Hunyadi László – Erkel), Elettra (Idomeneo – Mozart), Zdenka (Arabella – R. Strauss), Gilda (Rigoletto – Verdi), and Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi – Puccini).
